It can hardly get more exotic than floorball in Inner Mongolia!

Inner Mongolia is one of the least accessible places for Europeans in Asia. 'Inner Mongolia' is a place used in Donald Duck stories if you need to go REALLY far away.

It is one of the power centers in China when it comes to floorball. Over the two last years regional teams in China have challenged each other. We have been the only foreigners allowed to enter.

We are proud to be back based on a personal invitation from the Chinese Floorball Association. We have proved to be excellent role models and a relevant challenge from a sport perspective. The personal invitations will also help in the Visa-process.

Get ready to expand your horizon when we are going back to Inner Mongolia; Floorball, Desert floorball, Camel riding, bullet trains, local culture, new friendships and increased cultural understanding.

Kamp om ballen

We have been asked to organize teams from Europe, Africa, and the US.

The main event is U18, but there will also be friendly matches for U15 and U12 and our U15 team will play against the winner of the chinese U15 tournament! The level of the teams varies greatly, from almost no floorball experience to national team players with a decent level. We adjusted our teams to match the opposition, ensuring no one felt left out at any time!

Some Asian participants have limited floorball experience, so we also allowed participating "family members" of players to join some matches. If there is interest among parents, we will set up a few "accompanying parents" matches, so everyone can experience playing in Inner Mongolia. This also applies to accompanying minors!

Included/Excluded

Please be advised that when we are creating floorball magic on the other side of the world and in countries with variable prior international floorball experience, changes and unexpected situations are inevitable. 🌍✨ If you expect everything to go smoothly, this tour is not for you. We have learned a lot during the estimated 1,680,000 km travelled and 1,200 nights in hotel for our group and feel that we are well equipped to handle cultural differences and meet the expectations of European floorball enthusiasts, but know that surprises, misunderstandings and last minute adjustments will come! 🌟 Here is a list of what you can and cannot expect:

Included

Help with the visa process. We'll guide you step-by-step through the process and provide you with a personal invitation from the federation - making the visa process much easier and travel arrangements more flexible
Lodging in hotels with 3, 4 or 5 stars. Hotel standard is good, but some things will be different to what you are used to.
Local bilingual guides will help us when on the ground in China and join us to the sport events. Help in setting up e-sim-services so that you can contact the rest of the world while in China
Transport from the airport, all transport to sport venues, and bullet-train to Beijing
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. For most meals we'll provide both local cuisine (even rabbit heads in spicy sauce!!) and European style food (bread, cereals, hamburgers, etc.)
Participation in the cups, as well as entrance tickets for accompanying family
Personalized competition jerseys (home and away) with name and number, two shorts, and two pairs of socks
Tour clothing for competitors and accompanying family members: (pique jersey), gifts from sponsors and a pennant
All matches are broadcasted.
Guided local tours that few foreigners would have access to
'Fair play prize' from the local organizer and 'Best goal scored' prize from Unihoc

Not Included

Airline tickets to and from Europe, including luggage, but we'll arrange joint transportation of sticks. We'll also make sure no-one needs to fly to China outside a group
Additional Days and some of the Guided Excursion Services. We set up local excursions, many of which would not be easily available for foreigners, that you pick from
Visa Application Fee and your personal insurance. Make sure your travel insurance doesn't have exceptions for sport events - a few do
Drinks and food if you choose to dine outside the group. Last year some preferred to follow the group through the entire journey, while some did a lot of private activities the last days of the trip.
Transport to/from the Arlanda/Gardermoen airport

Ground Rules. Important!

We are ambassadors during the tournament, and it is expected that we conduct ourselves in an exemplary manner.
There is zero tolerance for alcohol, tobacco, and disrespectful behavior. In the rare case of breaches, it might lead to a yellow card (warning), red card (one or more matches quarantine) or exclusion from the group.

The Main Goal is Cultural Exchange

Team Mars and Norway

Please note that we are invited guests! We are invited to this hidden gem because the teams over the past two years have behaved well and been fantastic ambassadors for Europe and the sport.

Please note that the use of alcohol, disrespect of organizers, other participants, or the local culture will not be accepted.

If some Europeans would like to participate in coaching less experienced Asian players, that would be cool, but it is not a requirement!
